We created PottyTalk as both a way to understand Android development and mobile application design, and also to better the bathrooms around us. PottyTalk is an Android application which, based on your location, allows you to rate toilets based on attriutes such as cleanliness and spell, follow toilets you use often to receive updates on their status, and find your nearest toilet amongst other things.
We also include leaderboards of least frequented toilets, highest rated toilets, and most recently reviewed toilets. Finally, we allow our users to populate our database of toilets by allowing them to add a toilet if their favorite or most frequented toilets are not already on PottyTalk. After several rounds of user testing and redesigns, we came up with this version of PottyTalk.
